As is often the case when people are moving home they sometimes need a removalist at short notice and Emily’s was a rush move.

Emily was stuck today because the other furniture removalists she had booked to move her home got delayed and didn’t show up and Emily’s friend called us saying she was stuck in Neutral Bay and in tears. We had finished for the day but couldn’t let her be stuck so immediately went to take care of her move for her, which we did promptly and with the utmost care. In Neutral Bay parking can often be difficult and and we wanted to complete Emily’s move as promptly as we could so it didn’t cost her an exorbitant amount and as Emily didn’t have huge amount of belongings we were able to devise a plan to make it faster for her.

We parked the truck down the road and then we put all her goods on the footpath, with Emily watching her goods, and we were able to squeeze the truck up on the footpath and quickly put all her things in the truck. This saved Emily several hours as we would have otherwise had to carry everything down the street. Sometimes it is possible to park on the footpath or on the side of the road but in Neutral Bay the traffic is very busy and double parking, or on the footpath is very often not an option. As such we got the all her goods safely to the footpath in thirty minutes and into the truck in fifteen minutes, with the total uplift being only forty five minutes. Then the drive to Chiswick was very prompt as traffic was clear and we were able to complete her move in under two hours, which would have taken three to four hours if we had to carry everything the one hundred metres to the truck which can of the be the case when the access isn’t easy.

Emily was very happy, which pleased us immensely, and when we asked if she would give us a few words on what she thought of her move by us Emily’s response was “My goodness!
